As we start the back half of November, temperatures slowly but surely continue to drop. Soon, we'll be in the thick of winter, and the cold will be here to stay for several months. Illinois families know the season well, and winter coats can be something we take for granted as a matter of course. Unfortunately, that's not a reality for many Central Illinois children. It goes without saying, but every child should be able to own the warmth, comfort, and protection that a winter coat offers.

When you consider everything our communities have given to us, it only makes sense that our dealership does what it can to give a bit back. Toward that end, the staff at Green Subaru recently participated in a local drive to help collect winter coats for people in need.

By now, everyone knows that the Green Family Stores have deep ties to the community. We want to make sure that our friends and neighbors are taken care of and have their basic needs met. There is not a day that goes by that we don't realize how fortunate we are and how much we owe to our customers and the people in the Springfield, IL area. Green Subaru, located at 3861 Wabash Avenue in Springfield, IL, is currently undertaking a new task designed at helping one of our greatest treasures: children. 

It can get especially cold here in Springfield, IL during the winter. We all know how brutal the cold can be, especially if you are not properly dressed for it. Here at Green Subaru, we believe that nobody should have to experience winter without a warm coat.

That is why we are holding our annual coat drive throughout the entire month of November!
