What's covered under the Green Assurance Warranty?

Engine

All internally lubricated parts contained within the engine block, cylinder heads or rotary engine housings; oil pump; timing belt or chain, timing gears and timing sensors; water pump; engine block, cylinder barrels; engine heads; rotor housing if damaged by the failure of an internally lubricated part. Dipstick and tube; harmonic balancer; oil pan; timing chain cover.

Automatic/Manual Transmission & Transfer Case

All internally lubricated parts contained within the transmission case, torque converter case or transmission case. Transmission case, torque convertor case, transfer case and external covers and pans if damaged by the failure of an internally lubricated part. Coverage is not afforded for standard transmission clutch assemblies, or any of their component parts. Dipstick and tube.

Drive Axle

All internally lubricated parts contained within the front or rear drive axle housings. Front and rear drive axle housing if damaged by the failure of an internally lubricated part. Drive Shafts; locking hubs; and bearings; constant velocity joints; universal joints.

Steering

Power Steering pump; steering box; rack and pinion; pitman arm; idler arm; tie rods; tie rod ends and drag link.

Electrical

Alternator; voltage regulator; starter motor; starter motor solenoid; Distributor; front and rear window wiper motors and switches; washer pumps and switches; engine and dash main wiring harness; headlamp switch; turn signal switch; horn switch and horn; door locks; child safe door locks; power window motors and switches; power mirror motors; electronic cruise control module; electronic combination entry system; mileage computer; power antenna motor; convertible top motors; power sunroof motor; rear window heating elements; illuminated visor vanity.

Front & Rear Suspension

Upper and lower control arms; shafts and bearings or bushings; upper and lower ball joints; king pins and bushings; spindle and spindle support; torsion bars and bushings; leaf springs and shackles and bushings; coil springs; stabilizer bar, linkage and bushings. MacPherson strut housing, strut bar and bushings; wheel bearings.

Brakes

Master cylinder; vacuum assist booster; diesel vacuum assist booster pump; wheel cylinders; calipers; equalizer valve; combination/distribution valve; proportioning valve (excluding all ABS brake components); Hydraulic brake booster; hydraulic lines and fittings.

Fuel

Mechanical and electrical fuel pumps (excluding fuel injection pumps); fuel sending unit.

Air Conditioning

Compressor; condenser; compressor clutch; field coil and clutch pulley; evaporator; blower motor and fan; temperature control programmer; air ducts; orifice tube.

Interior & Exterior

Hood/trunk/hatch hinges, latches, gas cylinders and springs; door handles and hinges; seat tracks; glove box lock; ashtray assembly; shift lever.
